Top 5 Travel and Local Apps Performance in Romania Q1 2024

Throughout the first quarter of 2024, the top travel and local apps in Romania demonstrated varied performance metrics in terms of weekly downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

AmParcat showed a notable decline in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 34.8K in early January and dropping to around 10.7K by the end of March. Active users also saw a decrease from 36.8K to 17.9K over the same period.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel experienced a steady decrease in weekly downloads, beginning at 15.5K in the first week of January and ending at 8.1K in the last week of March. Active users fluctuated but ultimately declined from 190.9K to 151.8K throughout the quarter.

Wizz Air - Book, Travel & Save had a gradual reduction in weekly downloads from 11.5K to 6.6K. The app's active users also saw a slight decline, starting at 37.2K and finishing the quarter at 31.5K.

Star Taxi maintained a relatively stable performance in weekly downloads, with figures ranging from 7.2K at the beginning of January to 4.1K by the end of March. Active users showed minor fluctuations, beginning at 15.8K and ending at 13.2K.

eSky - Cheap Flights & Hotels saw a significant drop in weekly downloads from 10.4K in early January to 3.5K by the end of March. Active users also decreased from 14.3K to 7.6K throughout the quarter.
